VEGDOG – Vegan Dog Food is the first 100{885aeff1bad8426a30cbdbe9d5231e3aae48714a22e9517e9ea3ba0af3866123} plant-based and gluten free complete food for dogs, created due to our own dog Nelson’s food allergy and developed in co-operation with specialised vets and laboratories during a one-year long development phase.
Our different types of food provide your dog with all essential nutrients, therefore satisfying all its nutritional requirements. We carefully process only high quality, regionally sourced ingredients and adhere to the highest quality standards in order to create a tasty dog food.
We omit all known allergens in accordance with a German Laboratory. All our different recipes are optimally suited to dogs suffering from a food allergy.

Scientific studies have confirmed that dogs are omnivores. In fact, they have lived beside humans for thousands of years, being fed on leftover human food. Their digestive system has adapted to this predominantly starchy food which means that nowadays, dogs can digest vegetable protein just as well as they digest animal protein, as long as it is fed in a suitable form.
A vegan diet is therefore not only good for our own four-legged friends, but also supports animal welfare and the environment!

After so many attempts, we finally found the right food. Lotte has allergies and according to a dermatologist there is a certain animal protein which occurs in every kind of meat. Even if they have never been fed it, dogs like Lotte have an allergic reaction it – therefore a vegan diet is certainly best, and she loves it!
Even our elderly dog literally throws himself on to his portion every time. Both our dogs tolerate Vegdog really well, love to eat it and they smell nice too. The dry food kibbles are of a good size and the wet food has a lovely consistency.
My dog is on Green Crunch and has managed to put on 3 Kilos in weight, which is brilliant! He was always very slim, but now he isn’t “dangerously” skinny. I can only say it again and again – Green Crunch was our saviour! We won’t feed anything else anymore, he is fit and has lots of energy, keeps putting on weight slowly but steadily and his digestive system is the healthiest it has been.
Our Labrador loves this food! He doesn’t have any allergies, however, for ethical reasons we were looking for an alternative to conventional dog food. We thought about it a lot, it seemed unfair to me to bring a dog into my life and then force my diet on him. After a lot of research we were convinced by your arguments and we are really happy that there are such great alternatives out there, many thanks!
